Michael E. Steuer graduated in December 1987 from the school of accountancy of the University of South Florida. Upon graduation, he accepted a position with the Big 8 CPA firm KPMG Peat Marwick’s Tampa Office. While on the audit staff he worked on a wide variety of clients ranging from non-profit organizations to manufacturing businesses. After several years as a Senior Auditor, he worked with the Auditor General’s Office performing financial & compliance audits for cities, school districts & municipalities. With the experience gained from these work environments, he made the transition and went into practice for himself.

Michael Steuer holds a Certified Public Accounting certificate from the State of
Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mike & his wife Leanne have 4 children, Abigail, Rebekah, James & Joseph. The have been married for over 15 years.

His interests include community and professional events, church ministries, and visitations to Nursing Homes. He is an elder and the Treasurer of his Church, Countryside Christian Center. In addition, he serves on the board of directors of the Pinellas County Pregnancy Center.
